Forced 60Hz Mode:

Forcing 60Hz Mode in PAL 50Hz games will in certain cases result in audio skipping or desyncs during CGI and certain in-game cutscenes. This issue is pretty uncommon and not that important. In the case of certain in-game cutscenes, the audio will simply re-sync as soon as the animation sequence has played back. A rare issue that can happen by forcing 60Hz, is that the particular game could crash. Not randomly, but always.

Nintendo GameCube:

The XenoGC modchip enables the console to become region free.
However, it forces the video mode of the console to its default region
(PAL50 / PAL60 / RGB on PAL consoles), regardless of the game region.
This is convenient if you don't have an NTSC-compatible CRT display.

With that said, GC games can be forced to any video mode and resolution
through the Swiss homebrew app. Most games will work this way.

Nintendo Wii:

NTSC Wii games forced to RGB video mode:
  1. Homebrew App: NeoGamma
  2. Video Mode: Force Wii / PAL60 (480i)
  3. Video Patch: All

    * This app bypasses the console region lock
    * This method also enables colors for PAL60 with Composite video
    * Only certain NTSC games supported (!)

PAL 50Hz Wii games forced to NTSC 60Hz:
  1. Homebrew App: NeoGamma
  2. Video Mode: Force NTSC (480i/p)
  3. Video Patch: All

    * This app bypasses the console region lock
    * This method only works with NTSC-compatible displays
    * RGB not supported

GC Mode - NTSC GC games forced to PAL60 / RGB:
  1. Homebrew App: NeoGamma / Nintendont *
  2. Video Mode: Force PAL60 (480i)

    * This app bypasses the console region lock
    * This method only works with NTSC-compatible displays
    * Sharpest GC RGB output ever, but strong flicker in interlaced mode

GC Mode - PAL 50Hz GC games forced to PAL60 / RGB:
  1. Homebrew App: NeoGamma
  2. Video Mode: Force PAL60 (480i)

    * This app bypasses the console region lock
    * Only certain games supported (!)

GC Mode - PAL GC games forced to PAL60 / RGB while loading Action Replay:
  1. Wii Settings - Video Mode: 50Hz
  2. Load Action Replay (Homebrew App + Memory Card (Slot A) with AR data)

    * Action Replay can bypass the console region lock

  Wii VC 240p mode:
  1. Press Home Button
  2. Click Operations Guide
  3. Hold A-1-Z (sound will play if done correctly)

    * Hold A+2+Z to switch back to 480i mode
    * Feature not supported by all VC games
