Some people might be wondering what the reasoning behind making this leaderboard was. It has to do with the history of FZC and how poorly the Snaking ladder looks, even to this day.

When FZC first came around, the competition was split between Open/Snaking and Max Speed. To begin with, there weren't many Space Flying strategies that had been figured out, so the majority of the Open/Snaking ladder consisted of Snaking times. As the metagame developed, Snaking/Open quickly reached the point as seen today, where Space Flying is faster on 24 out of 26 courses. However, FZC didn't make the decision to split the main competition of F-ZERO GX into Open, Snaking and Max Speed until around 2007, when the Snaking category eventually got its own ladder. Although it had gotten its unique ladder, it still didn't count towards the site ranking until 2009. Due to how this category separation was handled, the people who did Snaking didn't find the site appealing, or had retired, which led times to scatter elsewhere on the Internet.

In 2013 I thought it would be nice to have a proper collection of Snaking times compiled into one place. This would make it so that people could easily see how they rank. This project was very tedious to do alone, but I hope others find the end result of it neat. Perhaps it can be implemented into FZC at some point in the future, but for now we'll have to deal with it as a large document that's a bit slower to update than an actual ladder.

The document kind of freaked out every once in a while, so there's probably some errors hidden here and there. Will correct the mistakes upon notice.
